She might have gone into liquidization with her label, but the woman known for making geek chic cool is about to release a book called: "Luella's Guide to English Fashion" She had this to say about her book:
"My aim is simply to dig up the roots of and, more importantly, show my unerring appreciation and devotion to those contrived subtleties and that blatant contrariness that makes British women so staggeringly adept in the art of expression through style,"
I can see a lot of people wanting to buy this, as people often say British people (or London especially) has/have great style. It's lovely that she's writing a book based on British heritage and is backing the style that this country has to offer. It's also nice to know that a woman with so much talent, who had such a fun ethos about clothes without them losing their appeal or making them any less high fashion hasn't completely faded into the background. I for one will definitely be going out and buying this book...even if it does mean no food shopping for next week.
