The inaccurate truth exhibition UCA Rochester
A few weeks ago my class handed in our second project for our first year. It was a project based on styling, we were all given a musical icon from the past and had to aim our shoot at a magazine and make our chosen icon relevant to today as well as photographing in the style of Richard Avedon. Our tutors gave us the brilliant opportunity to showcase a selection of the photo's in an exhibition in the gallery we have up at the university (My image has been picked= CHUFFED >.<) The year got together as a collective and have worked on a book to buy with the whole years photographs featured in (all money goes towards our final exhibition.) As well as sorting out a private viewing people organised an afterparty and press releases to go out and also invited people who work within the industry along to the event. Karen Millen is to open our exhibition as she is linked with the university. The private view for our exhibition is next tuesday from 5:30 till 7:30 below are copies of the of the invite and press release done by my friends Shona and Erin who have worked so hard at organising the event <3
