Currently residing in New York, Joan Smalls, a native of Puerto Rico, is on my model radar. Since she first walked the Fall 2007 Tory Burch show and appeared in ads and catalogs for Nordstrom and Liz Claiborne, smalls has become the face of three major designers and an IMG model. She's been blasted across the pages of American, French, Italian, and German Vogue, among other major fashion publications. She rocks!
