Ferocia and I are proud Brooklynistas. While our weekly schedules are packed with Fashion & Beauty events in NYC, come Friday evening our time is spent primarily in Brooklyn. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Whether shopping at a street fair, toasting mimosas at a restaurant or partying at the Brooklyn museum, our summers find us happily enjoying borough life on the other side of the Brooklyn bridge.

That is why we are thrilled to hear of Absolut's latest flavor, Absolut Brooklyn. Designed by Brooklyn-bred director Spike Lee, the bottle features a brownstone bearing the number 165, the address of Spike Lee's old home in Cobble Hill.
According to Absolut, Brooklyn tastes like red apple blended with ginger. Sounds delicious, right?
The bottle, which is available now, will cost you $25. And your money is going to a good cause. Absolut will give $50,000 in sales to Habitat for Humanity to help fund their efforts to build environmentally sustainable housing in my old neighborhood of Bed-Stuy.
Spike Lee, along with spoken word-poet, Lemon Andersen, filmed a love story for the borough to celebrate the launch; the film will be a part of a larger project, "Stoop Life."
No drinking Absolut Brooklyn on the stoop though, haha. (That's where the people of New Orleans, who also have an Absolut bottle, have us beat!) Are you excited for this amazing new flavor and homage to my favorite borough? What do you think of the design?
Kisses,
Coutura
