Au revoir Galliano

If you type in John Galliano's name into google one of the top listings you'll find is 'John Galliano arrested' after he pulled a Mel Gibson in a cafe in Paris making antisemitic comments to a couple near by. He was arrested and was suspended from the house of Dior. It has been confirmed today that John Galliano who has been at Dior for fifteen years has been fired and is in the process of termination from the house which is under LVMH.
The big big question is who will take over from this enormously influential designer? I have almost been debating Alexis Mabille, as his clothes are very feminine and I think he would do well at the helm of Dior but taking a more soft traditional view on the house rather than something like Galliano's flamboyancy.
It has been confirmed that his A/W 11 collection will be shown at Paris Fashion Week (Will Dior show couture for A/W 11??) Still but I'm guessing Galliano wont be sashaying down the catwalk to take his bow, and even if he could I would hope it would be with his tail between his legs. It is such a shame that such a talented designer has set such a bad example and can behave in such a disgusting and inappropriate manner.
Apart from wondering about the fate of Dior I wonder what will happen to his own line? Which also like Dior owned by LVMH AND the Miss Cherie Dior campaign? Which features Natalie Portman, who is Israeli born and has already expressed that she is upset about the racist remarks.
I hope the designer makes a sincere apology about his behaviour. But without wanting to sound tasteless, you never know what this might bring. This could be Gallano's version of his mate mossy's (Kate) coke scandal and he could be bigger than before. Well at least he's got a lot of spare time on his hands to design Kate Moss' wedding dress....thats if she still choses to wear something designed by a wannabe SA member that is.
