2010 CFDA Fashion Award Winners

The creme de la creme of high fashion society gathered together Monday night to honor each other at the 28th annual Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards. Although Coutura and I did not attend (we're sure that there was an oversight on this year's invitation list and hope to be there next year! lol) we thought it super important that you know who this year's winner's are. These people are some of the top movers and shakers in the fashion world and if we had the budget, we would be more than happy to wear their pieces on a daily basis. (In fact, we're sure that we'll soon be celebrities in our own right and they'll all be dying to dress us and, of course, we'll be more than happy to oblige.) How awesome is it that Iman won the Fashion Icon award?! That's her pictured above looking "glam"azing in a dress by Giambattista Valli and her rockstar husband David Bowie.

Michael Kors and actress Gwyneth Paltrow (in a dress designed by Kors, of course) and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Marc Jacobs proudly clutching his award.

Designer's Rag & Bone (ie David Neville and Marcus Wainwright) along with their wives makeup artist Gucci Westman and Glenna Neece. According to a tweet from The Cut blog, both Westman and Neece were spotted taking off their shoes and walking barefoot after the event. I know those heels are super high, but walking the streets of NY barefoot is not a good look for anyone! Ew. Keep it sexy ladies.

Vogue's Tonne Goodman looking quite Morticia Adams (from "The Adams Family") meets "Desperate Housewives" in Michael Kors.
Paper magazine's Kim Hastreiter. Her zany outfit makes me go "OMG" when I look at it, so her necklace is pretty appropriate. But, that's Hastreiter for ya!

Alexis Bittar (love that jewelry!) and Iris Apfel (in Balenciaga).

Jason Wu and actress Rachel Weisz wearing a dress created by the designer. Love! It looks so sophisticated.

That's Alexander Wang holding hands with Ying Wang. God, what I wouldn't do to get my hands on those shoes his models wore at his Fall 2010 show!

Sarah Jessica Parker paying homage to the late Alexander McQueen in this lovely dress designed by him. (Oh, and that cute little bag she's carrying is by VBH.)

Jessica Biel ditches the cutesy look she wore at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this week for a more mature dress by Diane Von Furstenberg.

Dakota Fanning looking all grown up in this cute, white mini by Marchesa and Brian Atwood pumps.

Stylista Rachel Zoe looked gorge in this sparkly blue and black number by Marc Jacobs.
Linda Wells. She's the EIC of Allure magazine. Side note: I'm KIND of obsessed with her..because Allure just happens to be one of my favorite magazines. I once told her at an event and asked if she'd have coffee with me and she said "Sure, e-mail me!" I did. No response. LOL It's ok, I know she's busy...and she's sure to know who I am soon enough! =D

Donna Karan and Gaby Karan de Felice (both in Donna Karan). That off the shoulder, gray number of Donna's is giving me LIFE! Looks like a perfect, drapey dress for summer.

Vogue's Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer. Can someone give us tips on how we can become best friends with Bee so that we can get on Anna's good side?!

"The City's" Whitney Port looks gorge in this silver, ethereal gown by David Meister.

Francois Nars (creative director and founder of NARS cosmetics) and Isabella Rossellini. She's rocking the shade Tonkin from NARS' line of Pure Matte lipsticks that's set to launch Fall 2010.

Zac Posen and Devon Aoki (who's frock designed by Posen is giving me LIFE! Love.)

Vera Wang looking very much so on the emaciated side. But, how I DO love her clothes and accessories!
